Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract An established retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations at their Ogdensburg, NY location. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage a dynamic pharmacy team while delivering top-quality patient care and supporting business growth. Both interim and permanent candidates will be considered, with relocation assistance available for permanent placements.

Responsibilities:

Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies Oversee pharmacy department operations including budget management, payroll, scheduling, inventory control, and third-party administration Lead business development initiatives within the store and local community Manage pharmacy support personnel including performance reviews and training Maintain accountability among associates for regulatory and company policy adherence; ensure completion of all required training Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug usage, dosages, interactions, side effects, and therapy optimization Engage in continuous quality improvement activities to promote patient safety Maintain a clean, organized workstation and pharmacy environment aligned with company and legal standards Complete continuing education as mandated by state law

Desired Qualifications:

Valid New York State pharmacist license Immunization certification and confidence administering all required vaccines (mandatory) Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred
