Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract Two retail pharmacist opportunities are available in Johnson City, NY, offering a dynamic role in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting. These contract positions, starting ASAP, extend for at least 13 weeks and involve comprehensive pharmacy practice to ensure quality patient care and medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions in compliance with pharmacy laws and policies. Provide patient counseling, educating on medication use, side effects, and health management. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow. Manage inventory and oversee medication storage protocols.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid New York State Pharmacist license is required. Experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach with healthcare professionals and patients.
