Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire This opportunity calls for a licensed Pharmacy Manager to oversee the pharmacy operations within a retail healthcare setting in Ogdensburg, NY. The role involves managing all facets of pharmacy services to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, while driving the department toward financial success.

Closed Responsibilities:
Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy. Maintain pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and organizational policies. Oversee the entire pharmacy operation including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management. Lead pharmacy support personnel, including performance evaluations, training, and accountability. Engage in business development within the store and broader community. Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, dosage, interactions, and therapy optimization. Participate in quality improvement programs to enhance patient safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment. Complete continuing education as required by the state. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active New York state pharmacist license. Immunization Certification with confidence in administering a wide range of vaccines. Previous experience in a Pharmacy Manager role preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to patient safety and quality pharmaceutical care.
