Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract A Pharmacy Manager position is available in Ogdensburg, NY, offering an opportunity to lead and oversee pharmacy operations in a retail setting. This role includes responsibilities for regulatory compliance, financial management, team leadership, and providing patient-centered care services.

Closed Sundays Key Responsibilities:
Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy. Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including budget management, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control. Participate in business development activities within the store and community. Manage pharmacy support staff, including performance evaluations and training. Guide and hold pharmacy associates accountable for regulatory and company policy compliance. Ensure all pharmacy staff complete required company training. Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, and side effects. Maintain continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety. Uphold an organized, clean, and compliant pharmacy environment. Complete continuing education programs as mandated by state law. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid New York State pharmacist license. Immunization certification with confidence in administering all vaccines. Recent pharmacy manager experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Relocation assistance available for permanent candidates. This role is offered on a contract basis with the possibility of a permanent position. Competitive hourly rates based on experience.
