Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Lead the pharmacy operations at a busy retail location in Ogdensburg, NY, as a Pharmacy Manager. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to oversee a dynamic pharmacy team, maintain regulatory compliance, and support community health initiatives. The role involves both administrative leadership and patient-centered care, ensuring the pharmacy meets financial goals and delivers excellent service.

PM Closed Sundays Responsibilities:
Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge. Ensure pharmacy operations comply with federal, state, and company regulations. Manage pharmacy financials, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control. Drive business development within the store and the local community. Supervise pharmacy support staff, oversee performance reviews, and provide training. Ensure all pharmacy associates complete mandatory company training. Participate in immunization programs, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness initiatives. Counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare providers on drug therapies, dosing, side effects, and interactions. Monitor patient health to optimize medication therapies and ensure compliance. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to quality improvement and safety programs. Fulfill continuing education requirements as stipulated by state law. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Valid New York State pharmacy license. Immunization Certification with the ability to administer all vaccines. Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Commitment to patient safety and quality service. This position is available as an interim or permanent role.
