Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager

Closed Key Responsibilities:

Register with the state board as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge. Maintain pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, and company policies. Oversee the entire pharmacy department's operation including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management. Lead business development efforts within the store and community. Manage pharmacy support staff functions including performance reviews and training. Ensure all pharmacy staff complete required trainings and adhere to regulatory and company policies. Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, and safety. Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and participate in continuous quality improvement to ensure patient safety. Complete continuing education programs as required by state law. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current New York State pharmacy license. Immunization certification and comfort administering all vaccines. Recent pharmacy management experience preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage a busy retail pharmacy environment effectively.
