Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available in a retail setting, focused on leading and managing pharmacy operations to ensure both excellent patient care and business growth. This direct hire role offers an opportunity to oversee all aspects of pharmacy management while working closely with store teams and healthcare providers.
Location:
Binghamton, NY Schedule:
Variable day and afternoon shifts Approximately 62 hours bi-weekly
Key Responsibilities:
Foster strong collaboration with store operations, enhancing associate engagement and aligning pharmacy strategies with company goals. Oversee accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions through Drug Utilization Review and quality assurance processes. Drive department profitability by managing inventory, growing prescription volume, and implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and performance management. Maintain pharmacy security and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and resolve complaints to promote trust and loyalty. Communicate effectively with physicians and utilize reference materials to support patient care. Manage department cleanliness, ongoing staff development, inventory controls, and daily operational tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree Active New York State Pharmacist License Strong leadership and management skills in a retail pharmacy environment Excellent communication and customer service abilities This position provides a great opportunity for a qualified pharmacy professional to take on a leadership role with a competitive salary range.
