Category Pharmacy•Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations at a retail location in Oneonta, NY. This role is available on both an interim and permanent basis and requires leadership to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards while promoting exceptional patient care.

Closed Key Responsibilities:
Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy. Maintain pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Oversee the entire pharmacy department operation, including budget management, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory. Engage in business development activities within the store and community. Manage pharmacy support personnel, including job performance evaluation and training. Ensure pharmacy associates complete all required company training and adhere to regulatory and company policies. Participate in patient-centered services such as immunization, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug therapies, interactions, dosages, side effects, and monitor patient progress. Maintain involvement in continuous quality improvement programs to guarantee patient safety. Uphold an organized and clean work environment aligned with company and legal standards. Complete continuing education as mandated by state law. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Valid New York State Pharmacy License. Immunization Certification with confidence in administering all vaccines (required). Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred. This position is a contract opportunity offering the chance to contribute critical leadership skills to a well-established pharmacy operation.
