Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Director of Pharmacy role is open at a leading critical illness recovery hospital specializing in inpatient post-ICU care for chronic, critically ill patients in Warrensville Heights, OH. This position plays a key leadership role, collaborating directly with the CEO and multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure optimal pharmacy services aligned with patient-centered care and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include:
Managing all clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial aspects of the hospital pharmacy Leading efforts to build trust, innovate pharmacy practices, and promote a culture of ownership and success Ensuring compliance with state licensure and hospital policies Supporting multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
Successful completion of all education required for state pharmacy licensure Minimum of 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience within the last 5 years Current state pharmacy license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, if required by state
Preferred:
PharmD or BS Pharmacy with advanced degree or hospital pharmacy residency completion At least 1 year in a pharmacy managerial role preferred Board Certification and/or Residency highly desirable
