$10,000 About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy (DOP) to lead and oversee all pharmacy operations within a critical illness recovery hospital specializing in post-ICU care. This leadership role is ideal for a pharmacy professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and team development. As the Director of Pharmacy, you will work closely with executive leadership and interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of pharmacy services to patients requiring extended recovery and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership for all pharmacy operations, including clinical, operational, administrative, financial, and staffing functions.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, physicians, nursing leadership, and other clinical departments to support exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards governing pharmacy practice.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage pharmacy budgets, inventory, purchasing, and medication utilization.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Promote patient safety through medication management programs and clinical oversight.
  • Support interdisciplinary care planning and contribute to organizational goals. Qualifications Minimum Requirements
  • Successful completion of all educational requirements required for state pharmacy licensure.
  • Current, active pharmacist license in the state of Ohio (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of hospital pharmacy experience within the last five (5) years.
  • BLS certification if required by state regulations. Preferred Qualifications
  • PharmD or BS Pharmacy with an advanced degree or completion of a hospital pharmacy residency.
  • At least one (1) year of pharmacy management or leadership experience.
  • Board Certification and/or completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Compensation & Benefits
