Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00

PM Duration:

13-week contract with opportunity to convert to full-time

Responsibilities:

Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately for patients taking 8-15 medications daily Provide clear, patient-focused communication with a diverse population, including Medicare/Medicaid recipients and low-income patients with varying literacy levels Utilize retail pharmacy knowledge and software, preferably Rx30, to manage pharmacy operations efficiently Support patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis, demonstrating patience and understanding Uphold compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements in

Ohio Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Previous retail or specialty pharmacy technician experience, especially working with complex patient populations Familiarity with the top 200-400 retail medications Compassionate communication skills tailored to patients with advanced chronic conditions and low literacy Ohio pharmacy technician license required; PTCB certification highly preferred but not mandatory Experience with Rx30 pharmacy software is highly desirable This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients who require specialized support and expert care.
