Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire This direct hire opportunity seeks an experienced Infusion Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations and clinical services of a home infusion pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have extensive management experience, a strong clinical background in intravenous therapies, and a dedication to maintaining regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control. Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing recruitment, orientation, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling for on-call administrative duties. Ensure strict compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, USP compounding standards, and other relevant guidelines. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize clinical outcomes for patients receiving home-based intravenous therapies. Drive branch business initiatives by participating in budget planning, workflow improvements, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Ohio. 5 to 7 years of direct clinical and operations experience, preferably within a home infusion or acute care setting. Strong expertise in IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation. Demonstrated leadership skills managing pharmacy staff with a focus on training and development. Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems is highly preferred.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility required to support administrative on-call duties. This role excludes applicants from retail or community pharmacy backgrounds and favors candidates with prior home infusion experience.
