Direct Hire Responsibilities:
Lead all clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial aspects of the hospital pharmacy. Collaborate closely with the CEO and multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure the highest quality pharmacy services. Implement initiatives that support the hospital's mission of extended healing and recovery for critically ill patients. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to pharmacy practice. Manage pharmacy staff development, performance, and scheduling to meet patient care demands effectively.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Completion of all educational requirements necessary for state licensure as a pharmacist. At least three years of hospital pharmacy experience within the last five years. Current state pharmacy license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification if required by the state.
Preferred:
PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree with additional advanced degrees or completion of a hospital pharmacy residency. Minimum one year managerial experience preferred. Board Certification and/or residency completion highly desirable.
