This position is based in Lakewood, OH, and focuses on serving a complex patient population requiring advanced medication management. This pharmacy supports patients managing multiple chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Each patient typically takes 8-15 medications daily, calling for pharmacy professionals with strong communication skills, patience, and in-depth knowledge of commonly prescribed retail medications.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Proven retail pharmacy technician experience; specialty retail pharmacy background highly preferred Comfortable working with patients in advanced chronic disease stages Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid patient populations, sensitive to low literacy and income levels Experience with Rx30 software is a strong plus Licensed pharmacy technician in Ohio; PTCB certification highly preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

Accurately process prescriptions for a complex medication regimen Provide compassionate counseling and support to patients with advanced chronic illnesses Work closely with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy outcomes Manage inventory and maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations

Schedule:
