Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with retail experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working within a retail pharmacy setting that handles an average inbound prescription volume of 200-300 per day. You will collaborate closely with a team of five pharmacy technicians and two pharmacists, supporting efficient pharmacy operations using Prime RX order entry software.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify, dispense, and counsel patients on medications in a retail setting Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy laws and protocols Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow and high-quality customer service Utilize Prime RX software for prescription processing and order entry Maintain proper documentation and inventory control
Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Ohio Retail pharmacy experience required Experience with Prime RX software is desirable Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license is required Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a busy prescription volume efficiently
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 13-week contract to hire assignment
Work Environment:
