Category Pharmacy•Staff Pharmacist•Retail Job Type Contract A travel opportunity is now available for a Retail Pharmacist to support a well-established outpatient pharmacy system in Shady Pine, OR. This role offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to float between nearby pharmacy locations, all within a short distance, keeping your day engaging and fast-paced. If you're a pharmacist who enjoys patient interaction, strong team collaboration, and a structured but varied schedule, this is a great opportunity to step into a consistent 13-week assignment with an ASAP start. Positions like this tend to fill quickly due to schedule flexibility and team environment. Open to Non-Local candidates who need travel stipends. Responsibilities Verify, fill, and check prescriptions for accuracy and safety Oversee pharmacy technicians and support workflow efficiency Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations Maintain accurate records and support daily pharmacy operations Float between nearby outpatient pharmacy locations as needed Work Hours 4 days per week (10-hour shifts) Monday•
Friday:
7:45 AM•7:15
PM Saturdays:
8:00 AM•5:15 PM Some Saturday rotation required Experience Minimum 1+ year of retail or outpatient pharmacy experience Experience in a fast-paced pharmacy setting preferred Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Other Qualifications Active and valid Oregon Pharmacist License Full-time availability for the duration of the contract Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to adapt to multiple pharmacy locations within a small radius to be considered for this Oregon travel pharmacist opportunity, or send your resume directly to learn more about additional roles currently available.
