Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for a Pharmacist ready to step into a leadership role as a working Director of Pharmacy in a critical access hospital setting. Located in Lakeview, OR, this contract position spans 13 weeks with the possibility of transitioning into a direct hire role. The environment features a 25-bed critical access hospital with an average daily census of 10 beds. The pharmacy is supported by two pharmacy technicians daily and utilizes Cerner for order entry and Omnicell automation systems. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no on-call responsibilities, allowing a balanced work-life integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Function as a working Director of Pharmacy and staff pharmacist with hands-on inpatient duties Manage daily pharmacy operations and staffing Perform sterile compounding tasks as required Oversee and verify IV preparations by pharmacy technicians Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
