Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract This opportunity is designed for an experienced pharmacist to support retail and outpatient pharmacy operations within a health system servicing multiple nearby locations in Klamath Falls, OR. The role offers the chance to work varied settings within a 5-mile radius, providing both stability and diversity in daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately verify, fill, and check prescriptions ensuring compliance with all regulations Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow Counsel patients regarding prescription medications as well as over-the-counter options Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens Manage retail pharmacy operations with adherence to safety and quality standards
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Oregon Pharmacist license is required Minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience Ability to work full-time hours with a flexible, team-oriented approach Strong communication skills and patient-focused mindset
Schedule and Location:
10-hour shifts, 4 days per week including some Saturdays Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 7:15 PM; Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM Role involves floating among multiple retail outpatient sites within a 5-mile radius in
