Job Description

Category Pharmacy•Pharmacist Job Type Contract An exciting travel opportunity is available for a Retail Pharmacist to support a growing outpatient pharmacy system in the Medford market. This role offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to float between nearby pharmacy locations while working alongside an experienced and supportive healthcare team. This assignment is ideal for pharmacists who enjoy patient interaction, fast-paced retail workflow, and schedule flexibility. With consistent full-time hours and a strong outpatient focus, this opportunity is moving quickly for pharmacists ready to start ASAP.
Responsibilities:
Verify, fill, and check prescriptions for accuracy and safety Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications Supervise pharmacy technicians and support workflow operations Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, policies, and patient safety standards Assist with inventory management and medication storage procedures Float between nearby outpatient pharmacy locations as needed
Work Hours:
4x10-hour shifts per week Monday•
Friday:
7:45 AM•7:15
PM Saturdays:
8:00 AM•5:15 PM Some Saturday rotation required
Experience:
Minimum 1+ year of retail or outpatient pharmacy experience preferred Experience working in a high-volume pharmacy environment is a plus
Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in
Pharmacy Other Qualifications:
Active and valid Oregon Pharmacist License Strong communication and patient counseling skills Ability to adapt to multiple pharmacy locations within a close radius Full-time availability for the duration of the assignment to be considered for this Oregon travel pharmacist opportunity or send your resume directly to learn more about additional pharmacy openings currently available.
