Full Time Key Responsibilities:
Oversee clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial functions of the hospital pharmacy Collaborate closely with CEO and clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery Ensure accurate preparation of all medications and chemicals Maintain compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory standards Manage and administer the Adverse Drug Reaction Program Lead development and execution of employee training and education initiatives Engage in quality assurance programs focusing on drug utilization and effectiveness Monitor patient drug therapy and develop at least one clinically oriented program annually, including services like Pharmacokinetic Dosing, Patient Counseling, Pain Management, or Nutritional Support Promote continuous quality improvement and provide patient and family counseling
Qualifications:
Completion of all educational requirements necessary for state licensure Minimum of three years' hospital experience within the last five years Current state pharmacy license and BLS certification if required by state
Preferred:
PharmD or BS Pharm with an advanced degree or hospital pharmacy residency Managerial experience of at least one year preferred Board Certification and/or Residency highly desirable This direct hire position is ideal for pharmacy leaders committed to advancing patient care through operational excellence and clinical expertise.
