Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Oversee operations and lead a retail pharmacy team in a dynamic environment as the Pharmacy Manager at a well-established location in Williamsport, PA. This direct hire role involves a commitment of approximately 69 hours bi-weekly, with a variable schedule that includes 10-, 11-, and 12-hour shifts starting between 8 AM and 9 AM and concluding between 7 PM and 9 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain strong collaboration with the store operations team to engage associates and communicate pharmacy and company strategies effectively. Ensure prescription accuracy by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with state and federal regulations. Drive business profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Manage inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand efficiently. Align departmental performance with seven key metrics focusing on effectiveness and efficiency. Deliver outstanding customer service through healthcare counseling and resolving customer issues to build trust. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Maintain security, cleanliness, and organization of the pharmacy area. Interact with healthcare providers to resolve prescription-related questions and issues. Regularly assess staff development to improve performance and reduce turnover. Prioritize and complete essential pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call orders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree. Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
