Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Lead operations and clinical excellence as a Pharmacy Manager in a busy retail setting located in the Sunbury, PA area. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, including 10, 11, and 12-hour shifts, averaging 69 hours bi-weekly. Immediate start dates are available, offering you fast integration into a community-focused pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster collaborative relationships with store operations, engaging associates and aligning pharmacy team efforts with strategic business goals. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations via Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance processes. Manage department profitability by driving script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Collaborate with district management to control inventory, track sales, and order pharmaceutical stock efficiently. Lead, train, coach, and discipline pharmacy staff to meet performance objectives linked to key department metrics. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling. Maintain security standards and oversee pharmacy cleanliness and organization. Resolve customer complaints to build loyalty and work directly with physicians to resolve prescription-related issues. Prioritize and complete critical tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call customer fulfillment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
