Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager is sought to lead and oversee retail pharmacy operations at a prominent location in Williamsport, PA. This full-time, direct hire position offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, including 10-, 11-, and 12-hour workdays, supporting a total of approximately 69 hours bi-weekly. The role requires a proactive leader committed to enhancing pharmacy services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the store operations team to foster associate engagement and effectively communicate company strategy within the pharmacy department. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through comprehensive Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance per state and federal regulations. Manage department profitability by promoting script growth and implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Partner with the pharmacy district manager in inventory control, sales tracking, and pharmaceutical stock ordering to meet customer demands. Align team efforts with key departmental performance metrics focused on efficiency and effectiveness. Provide excellent customer service, including healthcare counseling and resolving inquiries or complaints professionally. Supervise, train, coach, and discipline pharmacy staff, while maintaining security and regulatory standards. Maintain an orderly and clean pharmacy environment and proactively support staff development to reduce turnover and control labor costs. Prioritize daily operations such as cycle counts, inventory management, and managing will-call prescriptions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License Current Pennsylvania Immunization License Location:
