Are you living your life's work? This position is for Penn Presbyterian Medical Center Emerging Careers Applicants. The Associate Pharmacy Technician is a temporary job title for pharmacy technicians who are hired into any pharmacy area without pharmacy technician certification. A pharmacy technician hired into this role must become certified within 6 months of hire in order to continue employment and move into a permanent pharmacy technician role.
Responsibilities:
Stock and restock medications Triage phone calls appropriately Fill medication prescriptions Deliver medications to assigned areas Regularly rotate medication stock and check for expired medications Run cash register and dispense prescriptions to patients
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED (Required) 1+ years retail pharmacy experience preferred We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
