Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire This full-time Pharmacy Manager position is based in Burnham, PA, within a retail pharmacy setting. The role offers a direct hire opportunity and requires a commitment of approximately 62 hours bi-weekly, with variable day and afternoon shifts. Typical work shifts include 10-hour shifts (9am-7pm), 11-hour shifts (9am-8pm), and 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm or 9am-9pm).
Responsibilities:
Foster collaborative relationships with the store operations team and communicate strategies to pharmacy staff. Ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations in prescription filling through Drug Utilization Review and quality assurance. Manage departmental profitability by promoting script growth and clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Collaborate with management on inventory control and pharmaceutical stock ordering. Align pharmacy performance objectives with key department metrics to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Deliver excellent customer service through healthcare counseling and issue resolution. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline. Maintain pharmacy security and handle customer complaints to build trust and loyalty. Interact with healthcare providers and use reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues. Oversee pharmacy cleanliness, personnel development, schedule prioritization, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
