Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A retail pharmacy seeks an experienced Pharmacy Manager for a full-time, direct hire position in Mifflinburg, PA. This role offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, including 10, 11, and 12-hour shifts ranging between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM. The weekly hours average 62 bi-weekly, with an ASAP start date. Key responsibilities include maintaining a collaborative relationship with the store operations team while engaging pharmacy associates to align with department and company strategies. The manager ensures the accuracy of all prescriptions through rigorous Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with state and federal regulations. This role involves managing the pharmacy business to maximize profitability, promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and controlling inventory to meet customer demand. The manager supervises pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff—providing training, coaching, and discipline as needed. They are also responsible for maintaining pharmacy department security, resolving customer issues, and liaising with physicians to address prescription concerns. Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness and order within the pharmacy, prioritizing and completing daily tasks like cycle counts, inventory management, and managing will-call orders.
