Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Direct Hire A dynamic pharmacy leadership opportunity is available with a rapidly expanding dermatology-focused pharmacy headquartered in Tennessee. The organization serves dermatologists and patients across multiple states with a mission to simplify complex problems and deliver affordable, high-quality solutions. Location:
Primarily onsite in Franklin, TN Some limited remote work flexibility after onboarding Quarterly travel to an additional location in Abilene, TX Preference for local candidates; relocation assistance may be offered
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM No weekend or on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate readiness efforts for compliance standards including
URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP
795/800, DEA, and state boards Develop and implement scalable standard operating procedures, compliance workflows, and documentation processes Conduct mock audits to proactively identify operational gaps and compliance vulnerabilities Maintain multi-state licensure tracking and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance Design and lead compliance training initiatives for pharmacy staff Collaborate with leadership to enhance operational accountability and quality assurance Drive consistency and audit readiness across multiple pharmacy locations
Qualifications:
Active Tennessee Pharmacist license required; candidates from diverse backgrounds considered Leadership experience is essential Preferred 5+ years in pharmacy compliance, accreditation, regulatory oversight, or quality assurance Strong understanding of URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP, DEA, and related regulations preferred Demonstrated ability to develop systems, improve operations, and enforce accountability Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Proficient with compliance systems, spreadsheets, LMS platforms, and reporting tools
