Position Summary The Lead Director, Pharmacy Growth and Incubation Growth will help shape and accelerate CVS Pharmacy's growth agenda for 2027 and beyond by identifying, developing, and testing new opportunities for future scale. While immunizations will serve as the immediate priority growth area, this role is designed to develop and accelerate broader growth opportunities by strengthening customer engagement and retention, developing strategic partnerships inside and outside CVS health, and leading test-and-learn efforts that inform future expansion. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution. The person in this role will define where CVS should test and learn, lead pilots, assess results, and translate insights into clear recommendations and scalable growth strategies. This leader will bring strong external perspective, move quickly in ambiguous spaces, and accelerate progress across complex cross-functional workstreams. Key Responsibilities Identify and shape new pharmacy growth opportunities for 2027+, prioritizing immunizations as the initial focus area Build and advance growth strategies that strengthen customer engagement, retention, and long-term value creation Define key questions and hypotheses and lead test-and-learn pilots/rapid learning efforts to inform investment priorities and scaling decisions Drive growth through strategic partnerships across CVS Health and externally with health systems, providers, pharma, and third-party delivery partners Translate insights into strategic recommendations and business cases, and lead cross-functional execution (Pharmacy, Marketing, Operations, DDAT, Legal, etc.) with urgency and accountability while developing a high-performing team and culture of innovation Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, business development, growth, innovation, or closely related roles. Proven ability to lead complex initiatives end-to-end (strategy through execution) in matrixed environments Demonstrated success turning ambiguous opportunities into structured plans, including defining and running pilots and delivering actionable recommendations Experience in customer strategy, growth strategy, and/or go-to-market execution, including launching or scaling new products, services, or business models, plus partnership strategy (incubation, pilot design, scaling, and new growth initiatives) Strong analytical, strategic, and financial acumen (including building business cases and evaluating growth opportunities using data, judgment, and market insight) paired with strong communication, influencing, cross-functional leadership, and talent development experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare and in at least one key part of the ecosystem, such as payer, provider, pharma, retail health, or closely related sectors Understanding of how value is created across multiple healthcare stakeholders and how to navigate complexity across the ecosystem MBA or advanced degree in business, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field Education Bachelors or equivalent experience required Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $100,000.00 - $231,540.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
