Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract To Hire An acute care hospital near Nashville, Tennessee is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the pharmacy department. This contract-to-hire position requires an onsite presence Monday through Friday and offers a valuable opportunity for a pharmacy leader ready to make an immediate impact in a well-supported, community hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of the hospital pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and optimizing patient care Oversee budget planning and financial management related to pharmacy operations Develop and mentor pharmacy staff to build a strong, collaborative team Work closely with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital administration to integrate pharmacy services effectively Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards for quality and safetyQualifications:
Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy management experience 3 to 5 years of overall hospital pharmacy experience Proven skill in budget management and financial oversight Demonstrated leadership capabilities managing large pharmacy teams Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required PharmD or BS in Pharmacy degree required Availability to work onsite Monday throughFriday Ideal Candidate Profile:
