Full-Time Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Pharmacy to lead and oversee all pharmacy operations within a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the hospital pharmacy, ensuring safe and efficient medication distribution Lead, mentor, and manage pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory requirements Develop and implement pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize patient care outcomes Manage pharmacy budgets, inventory, and cost-control initiatives Drive process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and patient safety Required Qualifications Active Utah Pharmacy License or ability to obtain prior to start Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) Recent hospital pharmacy experience (required) Minimum leadership experience in a pharmacy setting (Director or similar role preferred) Preferred Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Prior experience in a Director or leadership role within a hospital pharmacy Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards
