Pharmacy Director Summary We are in search of an innovative and dynamic individual to take the lead in our pharmacy department as the Pharmacy Director. Primary Duties Provide direction and supervision for all pharmacy operations, ensuring they are in line with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Create and execute strategic plans to improve departmental performance and service delivery. Manage departmental budgets to ensure efficient resource utilization and compliance with financial limitations. Supervise, mentor, and assess pharmacy staff to encourage ongoing professional growth. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA standards. Incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical procedures to improve patient care. Requirements Active pharmacy license in the state of Utah. Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution; Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred. Prior experience in a hospital setting, particularly acute care, is a must.
