13 Weeks (possible temp-to-hire) Responsibilities include: Processing and filling prescriptions accurately, including insurance claim adjudication and resolving rejections Preparing, packaging, and labeling medications for pharmacist verification Performing data entry and managing prescription paperwork efficiently Communicating effectively with patients, prescribers, and internal teams Maintaining pharmacy inventory with daily cycle counts, restocking, and expiration monitoring Assisting with returns, medication quarantines, and destruction procedures Supporting cross-training and various department needs to ensure smooth operations Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance regulations

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required Valid PTCB certification and Virginia pharmacy tech license in good standing Minimum of 2 years' pharmacy technician experience, preferably within retail settings; call center experience is a plus Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable making phone calls This contract offers a direct client partnership with a swift placement process involving only one on-site interview.
