Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise pharmacy supervisors and staff, directing daily departmental operations. Ensure all direct reports receive ongoing training and support to meet departmental goals. Provide regular performance feedback focused on skill development and process improvement. Establish and implement departmental objectives in alignment with standards such as Joint Commission and Board of Pharmacy. Participate in hospital committees and projects as required. Develop budget recommendations for capital equipment and operational expenses. Maintain communication of hospital policies related to pharmacy services. Oversee systems for authorized prescriber signatures and pharmaceutical supply requisition and dispensing.

Qualifications:

Current state pharmacist licensure is mandatory. At least three years of recent hospital pharmacy experience within the last five years. Proven ability to manage pharmacy operations efficiently in a healthcare organization. Managerial experience of one year preferred.
