Work Schedule :
100% FTE, Day Shift. Monday - Friday; hours range 7:00AM - 5:00PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Be part of something remarkable Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! The Pharmaceutical Research Center (PRC) is a small section of the UW Health Pharmacy Department that manages study medications for Clinical Research Trials. We are seeking a Pharmacy Research Specialist to: Work with a collaborative, close knit team to transform PRC research activities and services into operational realities. Supervise PRC continuous quality improvement programs, and manage policy and procedures. Organize, collect and manage data collection using technology and variety of computer programs and statistical databases. Coordinate sponsor inspections and audits. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Required or High School Diploma with pharmacy research experience Required Work Experience 1 year of experience in pharmacy with research related activities Required Experience in an academic health care environment Preferred Licenses & Certifications As defined by the enactment of 2021 WI Act 100, all candidates hired into this role on or after March 1, 2023, must apply for registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the WI Dept of Safety and Professional Services ("DSPS"), and provide proof of application to their UW Health Recruiter prior to their start date. Failure to do so will result in delay of start date or withdrawal of offer. Current incumbents or those starting in an impacted role prior to March 1, 2023, are required to provide proof of application to their department designee no later than March 31, 2023.
