Retail Pharmacy Technician Vernon Health 507 South Main Street, Viroqua, WI 54665 $17.56 an hour $17.56 an hour Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering accurate, timely prescription services. This role combines hands-on pharmacy support with administrative and customer service responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Schedule Approximately 80 hours per biweekly pay period Primarily 5 days per week, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Every 6th

Saturday:

8:30 AM - 12:30 PM No evening shifts beyond scheduled hours Key Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone Process prescription data entry and maintain accurate patient records Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries Stock inventory and maintain an organized pharmacy workspace Support daily pharmacy operations and general clerical duties Qualifications Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred Pharmacy Technician certification a plus Strong basic math skills and attention to detail Proficient computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment Willing to become registered with the State of Wisconsin as a Pharmacy Technician Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $17.56/hour (adjusted based on experience) Comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and short-term disability Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) retirement savings plan Apply Today Join a supportive healthcare team and make a meaningful impact in your community.
