Pharmacy Technician

Company Overview IHS Pharmacy is a family-owned pharmacy located in Rainsville, AL. The pharmacy specializes in servicing correctional facilities throughout the US by providing unit dose medications and pharmacy supplies. Overview IHS Pharmacy is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join the team full-time. This position will assist in shipping operations during the day and work alongside our evening pharmacy operations team at night.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with shipping and order preparation Learning and operating pharmacy automation systems Supporting workflow and operations in a fast-paced environment Working closely with the evening operations team

Qualifications:

Will be required to obtain an Alabama Pharmacy Technician License Ability to lift and move heavy boxes/packages as needed Ability to stand for long periods of time in one place Ability to empty trash cans and get cardboard to the dumpster Frequent daily use of a tape gun Ability to use pallet jack Strong attendance and dependability required Comfortable learning new technology and automation systems Team-oriented with a positive attitude Pharmacy, warehouse, or shipping experience preferred but not required

Pay:

From $14.00 per hour
