Job Description

A Lead Pharmacy Technician is a senior role that bridges the gap between staff technicians and pharmacy management. oversee daily operational workflows, manage inventory, and train staff, all while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
Operational & Technical Duties Issue Resolution:
Act as the primary point of contact for resolving challenging insurance rejections and mediating complex customer or staff issues.
Order Fulfillment:
Prepare, package, and label medications to be verified by a licensed pharmacist.
Inventory Control:
Monitor stock levels, order and receive pharmaceuticals, and remove or process expired drugs.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate logs, control substance reconciliation records, and billing documentation
Typical Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED;
Associate's Licensure/Certification:
Active state pharmacy technician license and national certification (such as PTCB CPhT). Require immunization
Certificaton Experience:
requires 1 to 3+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail
Settings Skills:
Strong leadership capabilities, detailed knowledge of medical terminology and calculations, and proficiency with pharmacy management software
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
