Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire A retail pharmacy position is open for a Pharmacy Technician to support a well-staffed pharmacy team in Glendale, AZ. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced retail environment with a manageable daily prescription volume.

1st shift
Hours:
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through
Friday Location:
Glendale, AZ Contract to hire, 13-week duration initially
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter prescription and patient data using Pioneer Rx software Communicate efficiently with patients and healthcare providers, including calling physicians' offices and handling inquiries Fill and dispense medications following prescribed orders, with careful verification of patient allergies and safety precautions Uphold outstanding customer service standards by addressing patient questions, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
Qualifications and Experience:
Current, clear, and active Pharmacy Technician license valid in Arizona Minimum of 2 years' recent experience specifically in retail pharmacy settings Proficiency with pharmacy systems, preferably Pioneer Rx, and strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a stable schedule and a welcoming team environment with one pharmacist and three technicians.
