Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire Join an established retail pharmacy team in Scottsdale, AZ, offering a dynamic role for an experienced Pharmacy Technician. This contract-to-hire opportunity features a supportive environment where you'll work closely with a pharmacist and fellow technicians to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care.
Work Schedule:
1st shift: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to
Friday Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter prescription and patient data using Pioneer Rx system Contact patients and physicians' offices to clarify prescription details or follow up on medication orders Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring thorough verification of patient allergies before dispensing Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in line with organizational policies Deliver outstanding customer service to maintain a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience Proficiency with Pioneer Rx or similar pharmacy management systems preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Pharmacy Setting:
Small team consisting of 1 pharmacist and 3 technicians Manage a daily prescription volume under 100, allowing for a focused and quality-driven workflow This 13-week contract-to-hire position provides an excellent opportunity to integrate into a skilled retail pharmacy team where your expertise will be highly valued.
