Job Description
Do you want to help people and make a difference? Our pharmacy technicians are dedicated to providing quality care to patients when they need it most. We are looking for either a Certified Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee to provide great customer service while assisting our customers with their Pharmacy needs. From filling prescriptions to bagging and checking out our customers purchases we are dedicated to providing the best experience possible. Our associates are expected to promote and maintain the Pharmacy's professional reputation and provide patients/customers with pharmacy products and services in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and corporate policies and procedures by assisting the pharmacist in the prescription fulfillment process; maintaining the pharmacy and its merchandise; stocking and rotating merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; handling claims and returns; answering the pharmacy telephone; processing third-party insurance claims and/or rejections; assisting patients/customers with prescription orders and purchases; completing, maintaining, and securing paperwork, forms, and other required documentation; and maintaining a safe shopping environment. Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
