Your expertise will support patient care in various clinical settings, with a focus on out patient sterile compounding. This position offers an exciting opportunity to advance your skills in aseptic technique, IV infusion preparation, and medication administration. Your commitment to patient service and meticulous attention to detail will help ensure safe, effective medication delivery for those who need it most. Duties Prepare sterile compounded medications following precise aseptic techniques and established protocols Assist pharmacists with medication intake, labeling, and documentation for inpatient and outpatient settings Support the preparation of IV medications, ensuring accuracy in dosage and sterility throughout the process Maintain a clean, organized sterile compounding area in compliance with regulatory standards Verify medication orders using medical terminology and clinical information to ensure correct patient care Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and proper storage of pharmaceuticals Participate in quality assurance activities by documenting procedures, inspecting compounded products, and adhering to safety guidelines Skills Proven pharmacy technician experience Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to hospital and acute care settings Experience working in sterile compounding environments is highly desirable Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Familiarity with IV medication preparation, medication administration protocols, and hospital pharmacy operations Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness Effective communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals and supporting patient needs Join us as a Pharmacy Technician and be part of a team committed to delivering safe, effective medications that make a real difference in patients' lives.
