Anaheim, CA 92801 Responsibilities of theData Intake Pharmacy Technician:
- Accurately create and maintain patient profiles in the pharmacy electronic records system
- Enter prescription information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and other required data
- Communicate with healthcare providers and internal teams to obtain missing information when necessary
- Maintainpliance with HIPAA regulations andpany policies regarding patient confidentiality
- Handle a high volume of data entry tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with team members and departments to resolve patient profile or prescription issues
Qualifications:
- Active California Pharmacy Technician License required
- Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience required
- Experience entering prescriptions in an LTC pharmacy setting required
- Previous experience in a pharmacy data intake role preferred
- Strong data entry andanizational skills
- Pharmacy software and systems experience is a plus
- Excellentmunication and multitasking abilities
