This position offers a unique night shift schedule of 5 days on followed by 5 days off, working 10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The assignment duration ranges from 8 to 13 weeks, ideal for professionals seeking flexible travel opportunities. Responsibilities include accurately filling Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets, preparing intravenous medications (IVs, IVPBs, and TPNs), answering phones, and delivering medications to nursing units. This position requires familiarity with Order Entry Systems, specifically Allscripts/Paragon, and working efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment supporting 173 licensed beds with an average daily census of 140 patients.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an inpatient setting Skilled in preparing IV medications and managing Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets Familiarity with Allscripts/Paragon or similar order entry software Ability to work night shifts on a 5-on, 5-off schedule consistently Strong communication skills to liaise with nursing staff and manage medication delivery
