This position requires proficiency in medical terminology to ensure safe and effective medication management. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. Provide patient care by answering questions regarding medications and their administration, ensuring patients understand their treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication inventory, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate medication therapy for patients in acute care and critical care settings. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare staff. Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills related to pharmacy practices.
