Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A pharmacy technician opportunity is available to support a special project focused on increasing volume. This short-term contract role is based in the Bay Area and offers shifts during both daytime and evening hours.

Bay Area, CA Schedule:

Four days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Six days, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM Responsibilities include: Filling prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist Prepackaging medications for dispensing according to regulatory standards Assisting the Pharmacist with final prescription checks, including medication presentation for review and post-review packaging Coordinating accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers Supporting inventory management through receiving, rotating stock, and assisting in physical inventory processes Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and ensuring equipment calibration and cleanliness with the Technician Supervisor This role specifically does not involve IV preparation; it is focused on medication fulfillment.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Pharmacy Technician license (ME license required) Experience working in long-term care or production pharmacy settings preferred Ability to work efficiently under supervision while maintaining accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards Strong organizational skills and attention to detail This contract position offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to an essential volume ramp-up project.
