Role:
Join Skilled Nursing Pharmacy as a Data Entry Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely data management. Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional pharmaceutical services to skilled nursing facilities in Vancouver, WA.
Responsibilities:
Accurately input and maintain patient medication records in the pharmacy database. Verify prescription details and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with pharmacists to assist in medication order processing. Perform data audits to identify and rectify discrepancies in records. Assist in inventory management by tracking medication supplies and reordering as needed. Respond to inquiries and provide support to nursing staff regarding medication data. Utilize pharmacy software systems to streamline data entry processes. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all data handling.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in pharmacy or healthcare is a plus. Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Familiarity with pharmacy software and electronic health records (EHR). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused demeanor. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
