Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Travel This opportunity offers the chance to contribute your expertise as a Pharmacy Technician within a leading 300-bed children's hospital, serving specialized inpatient needs. Located in the vibrant area near Hayward, CA, this role involves a dynamic hospital inpatient setting utilizing EPIC software, ensuring advanced technological support in daily operations.
Schedule/Hours:
Variable day and afternoon shifts 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense medications for inpatient pediatric patients Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use Maintain accurate records and comply with hospital and regulatory policies Utilize EPIC software to document and manage pharmaceutical information
Desired Experience:
Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital inpatient setting Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system Strong work ethic and dedication, with preference given to candidates comparable to those accepted in top-tier programs, such as PGY1 pharmacy residencies Ability to adapt to variable shift schedules and fast-paced clinical environments
Location:
Based near Hayward, CA, with the hospital located in Palo Alto, CA, within one of Northern California's most respected health systems This travel assignment offers flexibility and the possibility of a temp-to-hire arrangement, with immediate start dates available.
