This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and other staff members. Qualifications Associates or bachelor's degree in pharmacy, pharmacotherapy, or related field required. Current active state pharmacy technician license required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or medical office preferred. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other staff members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task and follow written and verbal instructions. Knowledge of drug dosage calculations, lab procedures, and patient charting required. Knowledge of drug storage procedures and techniques preferred.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include: Answering phones, taking messages, processing payments, and making prescriptions. Opening and closing the pharmacy. Greeting patients upon entry into the pharmacy. Checking prescription ingredients for accuracy prior to dispensing. Verifying patient addresses on patient charts prior to completing prescriptions. Processing returns, refunds, and exchanges for products and services purchased from the pharmacy.

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
