In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and managing medications while delivering exceptional patient service. Your dedication will support smooth pharmacy operations across various healthcare settings. This position offers an energetic work atmosphere that values precision, compassion, and teamwork. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including compounding and labeling prescriptions accurately and efficiently Manage medication intake processes, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to medical terminology standards Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions, and ensuring patient care needs are met with professionalism Maintain accurate inventory control of pharmaceuticals, including LTC pharmacy supplies and hospital stock Follow all safety protocols related to medication administration and aseptic technique to ensure patient safety Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate medication delivery and support critical care or acute care workflows Skills Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication management Experience working in LTC pharmacy, hospital, or acute care settings with a focus on patient care and service excellence Knowledge of IV infusion procedures and aseptic techniques essential for sterile compounding environments Critical care experience highly valued for supporting complex patient needs Ability to handle intake processes efficiently while adhering to safety standards Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and team members Familiarity with medication administration protocols within hospital or clinical settings Embark on a rewarding career that combines technical expertise with compassionate patient support.
