Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract This opportunity is for two Pharmacy Technician positions located at a well-established medical center serving as the county hospital for Ventura County. These contract roles are set to begin as soon as possible with a duration of 13 weeks or longer.

Ventura, CA (Moorpark area)
Schedule/Hours:
To be discussed with hiring manager based on operational needs
Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist Assist pharmacists in managing pharmacy inventory and restocking medications Verify patient information and prescription details for accuracy and completeness Maintain proper documentation and comply with all pharmacy regulations and standards Support pharmacy operations to ensure timely service and high-quality patient care Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or clinical setting preferred Familiarity with prescription processing and pharmacy systems Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is an advantage
